Hey all. My B-day didn't turn out to be so bad :). It was pretty much a great day. I woke up early (God help me) and went out for Breakfast w/ Rick. Had french toast w/ apples on it...YUM. And I also agreed to run the pumpkin patch this year! And they're gonna pay me for it !!!! WOOOTT!!! alot of money too Then I came home and just relaxed for a while. Went online and played a little guitar, and prepared a little bit for the cookout. Everything turned out really nice! Jean, my grandma, Ellen, and Jenn came over. Also got to talk to Jeff (my cousin) for a little bit ^_^. And I got money! lol, and Ellen gave me a 10 dollar Old Navy gift card and one of those fleece throw blankets. oooo...warm...lol.
I'm listening to my Coldplay CD right now...They're actually not half bad. They sound like a combination of Vertical Horizon and Train. Which I suppose is a good thing. But yeah, they're alright.
My dad is going away fishing w/ my uncle next weekend. WOOOT! that means the house to myself for another weekend!!! Scott told me he was gonna get his hands on some alcohol and movies and come over...HEHEHE! sounds like fun :-D
Haven't done much today so far....went to the bank to deposit my bday checks, and went to wal-mart to get some stuff. Tomorrow I'm getting my haircut! woot! it's definatly getting a little shaggy. But I gatta work in the morning till like 2. ick. lol, ill live.

Can SOMEBODY PLEASE BRING ME BACK TO FLORIDA?!? I can't believe how much I miss it. I miss it so much I wanna cry. I miss Tony and his hilarity and Brett and all this bullshit, and Nichole and Yesi and everyone else. I miss Pleasure Island, the All-Star, and hell even Saratoga Springs. I loved being able to do whatever I want, when I want and not have to worry about my dad knowing about it. I can't get used to being home. I guess spending a month in a place as cool as that can become like home very quickly. And the people I was with were just so incredibly amazing. I Miss them all more then anyone could ever imagine. For the first time in my life, I now feel like I have true friends. I feel like I can count on these people no matter what and they would never fuck me over. I just wanna repeat this whole thing all over again. I wanna fly back down there, and start everything entirely over again. Yesi sent me an e-mail birthday card :) that was really sweet of her. Ive also talked to Nichole a few times...e-mailed brett but he hasn't answered. I've wanted to call Tony for a wicked long time now but never got the guts to do it.
To everyone....I miss you all so frickin' much.

well, tomorrow is my birthday. I should be happy about it. My family is coming over for a barbeque. But Im just a little down. I invited Scott over too. He said he'd let me know, but never did. So I assume he's not coming. He's been acting weird lately. I dunno whats up. I already got two of my presents...my dad got me a Coldplay CD....hmmm....He said he heard they were good and thought i'd give them a listen. Eh, I guess I could. Nothing wrong in giving em' a try...I'm just not thrilled w/ new music as most of you know.... And, my mom got me new sneakers which i needed desperately. Sketchers of course... :). Also got a check from my Grandfather that helped me out a lot. Tomorrow Rick is taking me out to breakfast. Thats really nice of him...I don't even think he knows its my birthday. :)
I dunno, I should be happy now, but I'm just down. I don't know. Maybe things will look better tomorrow. l8r all.

Hi again.....Im back! lol
Well, it hasn't been a terribly exciting trip in the world of Lauren recently..but I'm overall doing good ^_^.
Before I left for Florida, I joined DeviantArt. Which is a site for artists to display their work. You can display pretty much everything...Digital art, photography, graphics, poetry, and everything you can imagine. It's pretty freaking cool. And so far, people have actually liked my stuff! I wrote a poem and posted it, and also put this picture i took of my cat that turned out really awesome, and people like it all! I'm really happy :). I never thought I would get much responce from it, but I am! ^_^. Go here if you wanna check it out:

So, besides trying to get back in touch w/ my artsy side, I haven't been doing much...started work again of course....ick. It sucks, but oh well. Been going to the gym more which is good...I feel so unhealthy after eating so much disney food. lol :-P
speaking of Disney, I just went on the website, and found out that it would have cost us pretty much the same to stay at Port Orleans. But no, we were stuck at the All-star. I mean, All-star was alright....but Port Orleans is SOO much nicer...Would have had to stay at Riverside though because Nekca was staying at French Quarter...lol. Port Orleans is a MUCH nicer hotel and the food is SOO much better. Larking took us there for lunch one day..I was amazed at the difference..I figured Disney food would be pretty mucht the same..but heh, i was wrong. lol
Anywhoo...ive wanted to post some pictures from Florida, but Honestly, its gonna be a pain in the ass. So it might take me a while to get them up...I apologize!!

Well hello folks!!! I'm back!!!! And let me tell you, I had the time of my life and then some. Everything (Well mostly everything) was just so much fun. I met some AWESOME people, tried new things, and just had the best time ever. Ill try to recap important events....Ill start w/ Daytona...
Me, my dad, and Denise went to Daytona for the week before my class started. They built a REALLY cool outdoor mall down the street where our hotel is. It's WICKED cool. theres a little outdoor concert venue, a movie theatre, restaurants, and shops. It's the coolest thing in the world. They have this Candle store w/ the COOLEST candles I've ever seen in my life. They're made entirely of wax (including the holder) and they're round and they put different stuff on the outside like characters and stuff. and when you light them, they glow. and the best part is, the holder doesn't burn so you can put a tea light in it after. They're SO freaking cool. Denise bought two of them. the next time im at her house ill take a picture of them. But daytona was fun! we saw two movies: War of the Worlds (alright) and Charlie and the Choclate Factory.(awesome). lol. We had an overall awesome time in Daytona. And durring that week, I had a "virtual" water fight w/ Jeff. LOL, that was hilarious. still have all the messages on my phone. lol. After Daytona, my dad and denise drove me to Orlando and with a few minor complications, got to my hotel. At first, I was really impressed with it. I stayed at the All-star Music Resort. Which as you can guess, is music themed. each building had a different genre to it. The buildings were: Calypso, Jazz, Rock, Broadway, and Country. I was in the Jazz Building ^_^. So, I got to my hotel wicked early..like way before check-in time. So my dad and Denise left and I just walked around and checked out the hotel and the giftshop, wrote in my journal, and read untill it was time to check in. NYFA had a little table set up in the lobby for the students to check in, so I go there, and find out my room isn't quite ready yet..so I went and sat down on the couch thinger. In the meantime, my roomate came over to say "hi". I saw her and I thought right away that we weren't gonna get along. Her name is Nichole, and I could tell from the moment I saw her that we were gonna be totally different people. But actually, everything turned out fine. We got along great. I mean, we weren't that sociable w/ eachother, but we never argued or fought or anything. But anyways, I got to my room and unpacked and all that junk. Nichole had SOOOO much shit with her. she packed 4 suitcases. One with just shoes, and one with just shirts, etc...I'm like, "omg...." So we got settled in and it was time for orientation. We got down to the lobby where we got to see everyone who we were working with and they told us all the rules etc...which were aboslutly insane, but whatever. After that me and Nichole were walking back up to our room and this guy comes up behind us and introduces himself. His name was Brett. who turned out to be a frickin awesome guy. But anyways, next day class started. Classes were overall okay. The teachers were nice for the most part, and believe me, i learned A TON. I'm not gonna go into everything i learned cuz that would probably bore you. lol. Our teachers were amazing. I mean, it was really intense but it was awesome. I loved everyone in my class. Except Necka...omg...she was PSYCHO. she caused a scene in almost every class and told us one lie after another. She was driving us back to our hotel one day and Brett and Tony were in Brett's car in front of her...When we got to the security gate where you have to show ID, Brett stops to show his ID and Necka rams in the back of his car w/ her hummer. Yeah...it was NUTS...no damage on the hummer but Brett's trunk was smashed. Yeah, that was not a fun time. But to make a long story short, Nekca still hasn't paid Brett for the damage and she ended up leaving class. She was PSYCHO at any rate...totally out of her mind. . I aboslutly LOVED everyone there. Heres a little bit about each of them:
Brett: From Atlanta, now in Miami. Really awesome kid, but he can be such an ass hole. He never wanted to hang out w/ us no matter how much we begged him. He just stayed in his room and drank and smoked. His room smelled like SHIT. But still he was wicked nice to me and we got along great.
Tony: From Pennsylvania (sp?) He has got to be the funniest kid I've ever met. Holy crap. He does THE BEST Napoloeon Dynamite impression in the world. Him Jason had this whole gay act the whole time which was HILARIOUS. Tony is just an amazing person. He really has a great heart and I love him for it. I can definatly see him making it big in the near future. He also had a crush on every girl there (except me) at one point or another.lol. But I love that kid so much. "Jason...it's dark..." and him always played the "OKay game..." haha!!! one of them would say "ohhhhhhh" and the other would say "kkkkkaaaay". lol sooooo funny.
Larkin: From Washington state. I had issues with her at first, but she was actually really cool. We hung out a few times and she let me go to her apartment and use her internet a couple times. lol, believe me, I was greatful for it. Her parents teach film so she had a little bit more experience then most of us. She actually works at Port Orleans in Disney. Lucky. lol.
Yesibel (Yessie): From Puerto Rico. Really cool girl. :-D her english was a little shakey, but she improved a lot in the month we were with her. She seems really innocent, but she's really not. LOL. she's wicked cool tho, and I definatly miss her.
Nichole: From Florida. My roommate of course. I liked her overall. But honestly, she can be a little mean. Her ex boyfriend came up to visit who she's aparently really close w/, and she was just an absolute jerk to him. He's gatta have the patience of a saint to put up with her. Holy crap, I don't get it. But we got along great. ^_^
Jason: From Toronto. He was in the filmmaking class. Canadian dude whose father is a porn director (no lie) He did the best film out of everyone tho. And it was a little pronographic. LOL! soooo funny. I didn't really get to know him that well, but from what I could tell, he was really cool ^_^.
Katie: from Chicago. Also in the filmmaking class. A fellow Elvis fan!!! She was overall really cool, but She is a very difficult director to work w/...everything has to be just so, and she's really strict about everything. I guess I can't blame her..She was probably just trying to be as professional as possible and get the most out of her time there. But she was really cool to hang out with.Me, Nichole, Yessie, and Katie went out to Pleasure Island clubbing a few times...I had never been to a club before so it was interesting. lol, danced w/ random guys and had a jolly ol' time. :-P
the four of us went to Magic Kingom, and MGM one day. that was SO much fun. that night we ate dinner at the Drive-in sci-fi theatre. It was so cool! it wasn't an actual drive in, its a restaruant...and in there, theres these cars w/ tables in them that you sit in and watch different sci-fi clips on the screen in front of you. it's sooo awesome.!!! Magic kingdom was open till 2 am the night we went and we almost missed the bus coming back to our hotel. LOL, we ran and ran and the bus left. Thank goodnes there was infact another one shortly after! otherwise we would have had to spend the night in cinderellas castle. lol, wouldn't ahve been that bad i guess!The last night we were there was just CHAOS. lol, in a good way. All of us except Jason went out to dinner at Benihanas. Which is a japanese restauarant where they cook in front of you. Kind of like Saporro's in Daytona. Then Me, Nichole, Yessie, and Katie went to Pleasure Island, to our ussual Club, which is called "Motion". It isn't the greatest club, but eh, it was alright. Then around 2 we came back and had a little party of our own in Brett's room, and outside. lol, SOOOO funny. The sprinklers were on outside watering the lawn and Katie Tony Yessie and Jason started running through them, and i think Katie ended up breaking one...lol O_O and we were SOOOO loud. Tony was dragging Jason through the water and they were skipping across the lawn like it was the Wizard of OZ or something. LOL! Then Tony sat on the foam cooler in Brett's room and broke it and all this water came pouring out of it on brett's floor...that was funny. And OMG, it was just the BEST night ever. We were all so sad that we had to leave the next day. I miss EVERYONE tremendously.
I'd say two really great things happend to me while I was there. One is, I talked to Angelo again. I was so greatful to talk to him. I called him on his birthday and left him a message and he never got back to me..so I called him back a few days later and he actually answered!!! We talked for about two hours. I still love that kid so incredibly much. He's still the same random dude that He always was. lol, He's too hilarious. I miss him.
The other great thing that happend is Me and Jeff have become really close. We talked pretty much every day while I was gone, and I honestly do like him a lot and hope something will happen with us sometime in the near future. He's wicked awesome and really sweet.Anywhoo...thats all I'm gonna type for now. Damn that was long. LOL, l8r all!!
